Your tasks
- Ensuring the timely and reliable supply of packaging materials, merchandise and consumables
- Monitoring and analysing procurement markets, as well as further developing and optimising materials in accordance with customer specifications
- Creating, comparing and evaluating quotes
- Actively promoting and expanding sustainable solutions in procurement
- The receipt and dispatch of materials to ensure the smooth running of the procurement process
- Selection, evaluation and maintenance of long-term supplier relationships, as well as the preparation and conduct of supplier meetings
- Ongoing cost optimisation, as well as the drafting and monitoring of contracts
- Handling of complaints
- Preparation of cost estimates and statistics on price trends
- Maintenance of master data and creation of new records
Qualifications
- You have a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, you will already have professional experience in procurement or a similar role, preferably in the food industry
- You have a good knowledge of SAP and, ideally, experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- You have a good command of English to work with international suppliers
