In this senior role, you will ensure the smooth running of our IT infrastructure and contribute your expert knowledge to the further development of our systems and networks. You will be the main point of contact for complex technical issues and will reliably deliver key IT projects.

The role can be based either at our site in 19258 Boizenburg or at our workspace in 20099 Hamburg.

• Comprehensive management and further development of the hybrid IT-OT infrastructure (server, storage, backup and network systems, as well as specialist applications), with responsibility for availability, security and performance
• Implementation and maintenance of identity, role and authorisation models in Active Directory, Azure AD and connected workspaces, taking into account security and governance requirements
• Contributing to infrastructure, migration and standardisation projects, including analysing existing systems, implementing best practices and documenting sustainable operational processes
• Management of sub-projects or independent thematic areas within larger IT projects
• Technical coordination and liaison with internal contacts, as well as the management of external service providers during day-to-day operations and on projects, without disciplinary management responsibility
• Provision of specialist second-level support, as well as the delivery of targeted user training and software training courses
• Strategic advice and comprehensive support for the group of companies on all IT-related matters

• A completed qualification as an IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d) or an equivalent, well-founded qualification – supplemented by several years’ professional experience at an expert level
• Excellent command of German and, ideally, a good command of English
• Willingness to work in accordance with ITIL, ITSM or comparable service management standards
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (traditional, agile or hybrid) and practical experience of working on or leading clearly defined projects is desirable
• Ability to analyse, structure, document and continuously improve processes
• Proficiency in using ticketing systems, documentation and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow or similar)
• Ability to adapt standards pragmatically to the structures of small and medium-sized enterprises and to embed them sustainably in day-to-day working practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, including acting as a liaison between IT, specialist departments and management, and fostering collaboration
• A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with analytical thinking and a strong sense of responsibility
• Openness to change and continuous improvement, including a willingness to pursue personal and professional development
