Head of Quality Management (m/f/d)

Do you have extensive experience in quality management and would you like to take on responsibility for systems, processes and a team? In this key role, you will lead and develop our QM team, drive the further development of relevant standards and provide important impetus for a forward-looking quality organisation.

Salary: €80,000–90,000 per year

• Technical and disciplinary management and further development of the QM team
• Strategic development of quality management and the relevant certification standards
• Ensuring an effective and forward-looking quality management system
• Responsibility for the planning, conduct and follow-up of internal and external audits
• Implementation and further development of relevant certification standards (e.g. IFS, Halal, RSPO, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade)
• Close cooperation with clients, public authorities, auditors and certification bodies
• Responsibility for key performance indicator analysis, management reporting and the identification of optimisation measures
• Further development and standardisation of processes and documentation
• Managing projects and fostering professional exchange within the team
• Delivering and establishing training programmes on quality-related topics
• Active participation in specialist committees and taking on responsibility for cross-functional areas, including HACCP, food defence and halal

• A successfully completed degree in ecotrophology, food technology or an equivalent qualification
• Several years’ professional experience and in-depth knowledge of relevant quality management and certification standards
• Ideally, a qualification as an internal auditor
• Ideally, knowledge of SAP and ConSense
• Confidence when dealing with audits, regulatory authorities, customers and certification bodies
• Strategic thinking combined with a solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills, decisiveness and the ability to inspire and develop people
• A good knowledge of MS Office and a willingness to actively drive forward digitalisation initiatives
• Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English
